Latrobe's on Royal-- NOLA Event Space

The 1st event space that I am going to feature from my New Orleans trip is Latrobe's on Royal. I got to experience this venue when we attended a luncheon hosted by Cadence Bank on the day of the big game! From the minute that I stepped into the venue I was amazed by the beautiful architect. I turned to my husband and said "I would love to do an event here!" Not only is this venue beautiful, it has some amazing history behind it.

Benjamin Latrobe & The original Louisiana State Bank

Latrobe's on Royal was designed by the "Father of American" Benjamin Latrobe in 1822. The venue was originally the Louisiana State Bank, the first bank chartered in Louisiana. Pieces from the original design include a large vaulted "whisper dome" adorned with a low relief rosette at its apex, hand-painted wall murals, checkerboard black & white marble floor tiles and a traditional rear carriage house.

Latrobe's on Royal is comprised of 2 unique spaces- The Grand Banking Room & The Carriageway & Courtyard (which is more intimate). Each room can be rented out individually or combined to accommodate your event's specific requirements.

Another Fun Fact about Latrobe's on Royal, is that Carrie Underwood taped her music video "Cowboy Casanova" in the venue!
